About Me
As a first-generation high school graduate, whose learned to navigate imposter syndrome, and feel confident as a leader and decision maker, my own journey has fueled a deep commitment to self-awareness, equity, and leadership. I’ve experienced firsthand how understanding our experiences and investing in our growth builds the confidence and clarity needed to lead others—and to advocate for yourself.
As a scholar-practitioner with over 15 years of experience, I help individuals and teams grow by addressing leadership development, organizational dynamics, and systemic inequities. I believe strong leadership starts with self-honest reflection.
I've lead a successful career training and developing thousands of higher eductaion professionals and students. I’ve facilitated workshops on leadership, communication, inclusion, supervision, and organizational change. My areas of expertise include:

I hold a PhD in Higher Education Leadership, a Master’s in Student Affairs, and a Bachelor’s in Government. I’m a trained SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) facilitator, IDI (Intercultural Development Inventory) facilitator, and have led white anti-racism caucus groups. I’ve presented at national conferences—including NASPA and NCORE—and published scholarship systemic inequities in higher education.
I work with directors and senior staff in higher education who are leading a mission driven team. I guide leaders in building the confidence to address challenging team dynamics, make informed decisions, and feel aligned in their values and leadership approach.
